• "Provider" means the operator of JoyLegal at joylegal.app.
• "User" means any individual or legal entity accessing or using the Service.
• "Content" means any contracts, documents, or data processed through the Service by the User.

By accessing or using JoyLegal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable supplemental terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.

JoyLegal provides AI-powered contract analysis services, including but not limited to: risk score calculation, abusive clause detection, plain language explanations, redlining, document comparison, chat with document, and industry-specific playbooks.

The Service is intended as a supporting tool and does not constitute legal advice. Always consult a qualified lawyer for critical legal decisions.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Upload documents containing illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive the source code
• Introduce malware or harmful code
• Use automated systems without prior written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

The Service, including its design, code, logo, and trademarks, is owned by the operator of JoyLegal. You retain full ownership of all Content you process through the Service.

Premium plans are billed monthly and auto-renew unless cancelled. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. You can cancel at any time through your account settings.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. AI analysis results are not legal advice. You acknowledge that no AI tool can guarantee 100% accuracy. Always verify results before relying on them for legal decisions.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or matters that cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. EU consumers retain rights under mandatory consumer protection laws. Disputes may be submitted to the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
